Dismantling Racism in Public Art

Since 2015, the United States has seen a growing movement to remove memorials and other imagery that glorify and uphold the tenets of white supremacy. This movement was further propelled by tragic events that transpired in 2020, spreading removal efforts worldwide. Primarily looking through an Indigenous lens, this repository holds the stories of the communities that have led these gallant efforts and provides a framework to support the dismantling of racism in public art.
